Current clients often request school support services in addition to direct intervention. School consultations are a collaboration among the family, school team, and consulting Sensational Achievements therapist to improve your child’s overall educational programming. We work closely with the entire team to ensure your child’s specific areas of concerns and needs are recognized and addressed in the school environment.

In this case, you may request that your therapist create a classroom sensory diet to support self-regulation, attention and focus. While it is most beneficial to complete a school observation first to observe your child’s classroom environment and available resources, a school-based sensory diet can also be created using feedback from the teacher gathered via phone consultation.

In a private school setting, this may include phone consultation, written strategies and sensory diet programming, and direct training to your child’s school team.
If your child is in public school, consent forms must be signed for phone consultations. Any additional services are decided in collaboration with the school team at a PPT meeting.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tab][/vc_tabs][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”2822″ border_color=”grey” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”medium”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
