Try this Energizing exercise sequence from Body Activated Learning
These sequences are designed to connect children to their bodies without being overstimulating and leaving parents and teachers with even more wiggly children than before the “wiggle break”. This time of year we want to keep our kids alert and focused without expecting that they start from a place of calm. We have to help them get there! Starting with a faster exercise meets children where they are while gradually slowing them down to get to that “just-right” place.
If you are a music or dance teacher, try these out with the kids in your class. Its a great way to meet the sensory needs of neurodiverse children and support inclusion while doing something that benefits all the kids.
