Supplies
- Bubble solution (about 1 cup)
- 1-2 ts each of red, yellow, and blue paint
- Bubble wand (we used glitter bug, but you can choose your favoirte)
- 3 bowls to hold bubble solution/paint
- Paint brushes or spoons to mix paint and bubble solution
- Mulitple peices of large paper (we used 17” x11”, but you can tape smaller pieces together)
- Sponge for clean up
- Smock to protect clothing if desired
Procedure
1. Determine ideal location for project (Inside or outside. Sitting at a table or on the foor. Standing with paper taped to a wall)
2.Poor bubble solution into 3 bowls
3. Squeeze paint into each bowl
4. Demonstrate to child how to hold the bowl with 1 hand and stir with theother hand using paint brush/spoon
5. Dip bubble wand into bubble paint
6.Hold bubble wand 1-2 inches from surface of paper and blow slowly
7. Demonstrate to the child that blowing fast will pop the bubble, but blowing slow will make a bigger bubble
8. Stabalize bubble wand for child at appropirate distance from paper if nessesary.
9. Encourage child add bubbles to paper to child’s tolerace.
10. Let dry
11. Have child assist in clean up and washing of supplies
